Customer Responsibilities
By booking our Services, you agree to:

Ensure that all items are appropriately packed and ready for transport prior to our crew’s arrival, unless packing services are explicitly included in your agreement.

Arrange safe and adequate access to all relevant premises, including elevator reservations, designated truck parking, and any necessary approvals required by the building or property.

Notify us in advance of any items that are fragile, exceptionally large, unusually valuable, or that require non-standard handling procedures.

Observe all applicable laws, local regulations, and building-specific rules that govern your move.

You confirm that you are either the owner of all goods to be transported or have been granted full authority by the owner to authorize their transport under this agreement.

Exclusions and Prohibited Items
We reserve the right to decline transport of certain items, including but not limited to:

Hazardous substances, flammable or explosive materials, and chemical compounds.

Items that are unlawful to possess, transport, or transfer under any applicable local, state, or federal law.

Perishable goods, live animals, or plants, except where we have provided explicit written agreement to do so.

Should you include prohibited items without our prior knowledge, you may bear full liability for any losses, damages, fines, or penalties that result.

Payment Terms
Unless a separate written arrangement has been made, payment is due as outlined in your estimate or booking confirmation — for example, a deposit before the move and the remaining balance upon completion.

Additional charges may apply for circumstances not reflected in the original quote, including but not limited to extra labor time, additional stops, extended waiting periods, long or stair carries, or changes to the agreed inventory.

In the event of non-payment, we may exercise all remedies available under applicable law, including charging late fees or withholding delivery of goods until the outstanding balance is settled, where permitted by law.

Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations or changes to your scheduled move are subject to the notice requirements and any applicable fees described in your estimate, confirmation, or our separate cancellation policy.

Late-notice cancellations or rescheduling requests may result in forfeiture of your deposit or the assessment of additional charges to offset costs already incurred.

We may cancel or postpone a scheduled move due to conditions outside our reasonable control — including severe weather, unsafe road or site conditions, or mechanical failure — and will make reasonable efforts to inform you promptly and arrange a suitable alternative date.

Liability for Loss or Damage
Our liability for any loss of or damage to your goods is governed by applicable law and the specific terms set out in your written estimate or bill of lading.

You should inspect all items at the point of delivery and document any visible damage directly on the delivery paperwork before our crew departs.

Claims for damage that was not apparent at delivery must be submitted to us in writing within the time frame specified in your documentation, where applicable.

Our liability may be subject to the valuation option you select, to released value rates, or to other limitations established by law; enhanced coverage may be available at an additional cost where we offer that option.

We are not liable for loss or damage resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather conditions, road closures, accidents not attributable to our negligence, or pre-existing defects in any goods transported.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

We will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages — including lost revenue, lost profits, or lost business opportunities — arising from your use of the Site or Services.

Our total liability for any claim connected to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the amount you actually paid to LeDoux Moving Solutions for the specific move or service from which the claim arises.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
